What is Cobblestone Live?

Cobblestone Live is a neighborhood of bars, restaurants and venues coming together to put on a two-day music & arts festival for the city of Buffalo.

Cobblestone Live Music & Arts Festival takes place in the Historic Cobblestone District in Downtown Buffalo, NY with three main outdoor stages & one stage inside Buffalo Iron Works. Over the last decade, the Historic Cobblestone District has become a breeding ground for live music and entertainment.

How many stages, bands, shows?

Cobblestone Live featured 4 Stages featuring over 20 national and regional touring bands.

What else happens besides music?

In addition to the eclectic roster of musicians, the festival will feature over 50 local artisan vendors, a chicken wing eating contest presented by Wingnuts, craft beverages, mocktails, immersive activities, local food and more!

Where is the entrance to the festival?

The Box Office for the festival is located at 26 Mississippi Street. There will be a VIP / Handicap lane all the way to the left. Pre-Sale/ Will Call x2 Lanes and Day of Sale.

What time do the gates open each day?

  • Friday July 14th gates open at 5:00pm EST
  • Saturday July 15th gates open at 1:00pm EST

When does the music start?

  • Friday July 14th music begins at 5:45pm EST
  • Saturday July 15th music begins at 2:00pm EST

Can I leave the festival and come back?

Cobblestone Live allows re-entry on both days. Guests will receive their festival wristband for the day allowing access to the festival. Guests may come and go as they please. Guests will have to go through Security upon re-entry. Please note that there is no tailgating in the parking lots.

Are children allowed?

Cobblestone Live is an all ages event, children 10 and under will be allowed in for free.

Are totems allowed?

Festival totems are allowed

Totem Guidelines:

  • Maxim height is 10 feet
  • Totems must be made from lightweight material (foam, PVC / NO solid metal)
  • PVC, light wood or aluminum poles must be no thicker than 1 inch in diameter.
  • Decorated pool noodles work great for easy entrance through security.
  • Inflatables attached to totems must be deflated upon entry.
  • Any item deemed dangerous will not be allowed.
  • Totems promoting illegal activity or hate speech will not be permitted.

Am I allowed to bring a pet to the event?

Only service animals are allowed

Is tailgating allowed in the parking lot?

Tailgating is strictly prohibited in the parking lots. If found tailgating, security will kindly ask you to leave.

Where can I get Cobblestone Live merchandise?

Cobblestone Live Merch will be available at the main festival merchandise tent located on South Park Ave. Artist merch will also be available here

Can I smoke?

Smoking is allowed outdoors at the festival but please be conscious of those around you

What is the camera policy?

Professional cameras with detachable lenses are prohibited. Guests may take pictures using their phones.

Can I pay with a credit card at the event?

All major credit card will be accepted throughout the festival

Does the venue have cash machines?

There is an ATM located inside Buffalo Iron Works

Can I bring my own seating?

Personal chairs or camping chairs are only allowed to be used under the ADA/Accessibility viewing areas and must be ADA certified to use.

Ticket Questions

Is the event free?

No, festival tickets must be purchased in order to enter the festival grounds

What is the minimum age requirement to purchase a ticket?

This is an all ages event, children 10 and under are free. Everyone else must purchase a ticket to enter

What are the Box Office hours?

  • Friday July 14th: 5:00pm – 11:00pm EST
  • Saturday July 15th: 1:00pm – 11:00pm EST

What payment methods can be used to purchase tickets?

The box office will accept cash or credit card for payment

What if I purchased tickets but my card hasn’t been charged yet?

Can I upgrade my ticket?

No upgrades will be available. Should a guest want access to VIP, they will need to purchase a VIP tickets

Do I have to print my ticket?

In an effort to be sustainable, all tickets will be mobile ready and can scan directly off your phone. Guests do have the option to print tickets at home should they choose.

What if I change my mind after purchasing my ticket? Can I get a refund?

All sales are final and no refunds will be given

I have lost, damaged or tightened my wristband. Can I get a replacement?

Please head to the box office and they can assist you with a wristband replacement. The original wristband will need to be presented in order to receive a replacement.

Legal Information: Your ticket is for Cobblestone Live, not for a specific artist. Artists and schedules are subject to change without notice. Artist cancellation is not grounds for refund.

Where is Cobblestone Live?

Cobblestone Live is located throughout the Historic Cobblestone District in downtown Buffalo. The Box Office and entrance is located at 26 Mississippi St, Buffalo, NY 14203

Where is the best place to park?

We recommend using the KeyBank Center Surface Parking Lot located off of Perry Street between Columbia Ave and Mississippi St. This will put you centrally located to the festival grounds.

Can I ride my bike?

Yes, there are places to lock your bike throughout the neighborhood.

Can we bring in outside food?

Outside food & beverage is not allowed

Can we bring in alcohol?

Outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed

Where can I buy water or soda at the event?

  • There will be free water stations set up throughout the festival
  • Soda and water will also be available at food vendor locations

Amenities

Will there be available water at the festival?

Free water refill stations will be located on the festival grounds

  • Purchase a Cobblestone Live refillable water bottle at the Merch Tent.
  • Hydration packs and empty water bottles are allowed in the festival but are subject to search.

Who do I contact regarding special accommodations for medications and medical devices?

Please contact any of the security guards throughout the festival, they will be able to assist you with local EMTs who will be on site.

What kinds of medical services are available in an emergency?

To ensure a safe environment for all, security and medical staff will be present throughout the festival. If you need any assistance, please go to the nearest medical or information tent , or seek out an event staff member.

I am feeling overwhelmed, can I go somewhere quiet?

Yes, we recommend going to the Aille Design/ADA tent located on South Park Ave. They can assist you with your needs.

Accessibility

Is the festival ADA accessible?

  • Yes, the entire festival is fully ADA compliant. Please reference the ADA plan on the festival website.
  • For any onsite ADA accessibility questions, please head over to the Aille Design/ADA tent located on South Park Ave and speak to our accessibility directors.

Items to Bring

Can I bring bags into the festival?

Bag Policy:

  • ALL bags will be searched before entry.
  • Small clutch purses and fanny packs that are 4.5″ x 5.5″ or smaller do not need to be clear, but can have no more than one pocket.
  • All other bags must be fully CLEAR and made up of clear plastic, vinyl, or pvc, and be no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″ ONLY. Bags will be restricted to small purses, totes and drawstring bags only. Backpacks and bags with multiple pockets are prohibited.
  • Hydration packs are allowed and do not need to be clear, but must be emptied of all liquid and have no more than two pockets in addition to the one holding the water reservoir

Medication Policy:

  • Prescription medication must be in the pharmacy-labeled container which states the prescription, dosage, and patient name to our medical staff at each entrance gate. Patrons are only allowed a sufficient supply of the prescribed medication for that day.
  • Medicines needing to be inhaled or smoked are prohibited unless in a prescribed inhaler.
  • Over the counter medications are allowed in a sufficient supply for the day. Bottle contents will be verified by medical personnel at the entry gates.
